I Love you Mom
After my 20 year marriage, I almost forget about one of the most special woman in my life. Though my wife also one of my special woman in my life, (",) and the other is my mother. It was my wife who remind me. She said "Honey, I love you, but I think you should spend your little time to have a date with your mother". I think she got the point, it had been 2 years I had not met my mother who has been a widow for 8 years.

Right then, at 9 pm I called my mother. "Hello mom, it's me, your lovely son ('',), how are you?". My mom was surprised by my call. "Hello son, how are you ?, I'm surprised, you call me at this hour". "Well, you know, it's been a long time we don't meet each other, I would like ask you for a date, how about tomorrow ?, I'll pick you up at 6 p.m" I said.
"You're so nice my son, OK, I am looking forward then"
The next day, I pick up my mother, she was wearing a yellow shirt and blue scarf wrapped his neck. We headed to a local restaurant, which is famous for it's traditional food. My parents used to be take their children to have dinner at this restaurant.
"What would you like to eat Mom ?" I asked. "Long time ago, It used to be mom who choose for your menu" my mother answer with her lovely smiled. "Yeah mom, now let me choose for you" I said. I ordered a plate of "Special fried rice" which is my mother's favorite, while I ordered "fried seafood noodles" which is my favorite.
We spend a beautiful night together, She tells the story about how she educate their children, and hope I can educate my children better than her, thus forming better generation. My Mom
did not mention too much about my father, I also did not mention about him, afraid my mother would remind her late husband.
It's almost two hours we pass some time together at the restaurant. Then I drove my mother back to her house, because the next day, my mother has an appointment with her neighbors to shopping at early morning.
"Thank you my son, today I feel very happy to be able to have dinner with you, next time let me take you to dinner, don't forget to invite my grandson and your wife" my mother said
Two months later, I received a letter from a local restaurant where I had dinner with my mom.
In the letter contains vouchers and a letter written by my mother, "Hello my beloved Son, thank you for your dinner two months ago. Remember when I told you that next time it will be my turn to take you for dinner? Mom already makes a reservation so that we can eat together once more with my grandson and your wife
, I'm afraid that I don't have time anymore, so I make a reservation in the restaurant, but if you read this letter, It means that I am really don't have time anymore to get through with you and your family to spend a most beautiful moment. Mothers have booked a seat in this restaurant so you can have dinner with your family

It turned out that my mother had heart disease, so she can't have dinner on the day that has been set by her, and my mother would understand this condition but do not tell me.
