Once upon a day, there was an old carpenter intends to retire from his job. He worked in a real estate construction company. Thus he expressed his feeling to the owner of the company. The Owner tried to convince him to reconsider of his wish, because if he quit this job, he will lose his monthly income, but the carpenter already make his decision, he still want to quit his job. His reason is simple, he felt tired. He wanted to rest and enjoy the rest of his days with his wife and family, peacefully.
The owner of the company was felt sad because he was going to lose one of his best workers. The owner has one wished before the carpenter resign from his company, He then begged the carpenter to make a simple house for himself. The Carpenter agree but, in fact he feels forced. He already bored and wanted to stop as soon as possible. His heart was not fully devoted for his last work. He start his worked with reluctantly. He only uses modest ingredients.
Finally he finished his last work, The house already finished. But the result is so disappointing. It's a shame that his best carpenter end his worked like this. All of his achievement was tarnished of his last work.
When the owner of the company came to see the house that he asked for, suddenly he handed the door key to the carpenter. "This is your house, a gift from us" he said.
It was like being struck by lightning, the carpenter feel shame and disappointing of himself. If only he knew that he was actually working on a house for himself, he would have
do the best to finished his last work. Now he had to live in a house that had been done by his unwillingness.
