Once upon a time, in the afternoon, there was a young man sitting at side of a like with his emptiness sight seeing. He had traveled to various places, but none of the place can make him happy.
"What are you doing here, young man," asked an old man who lived nearby.
The young man said. "I'm tired, old man. I've made it this far in order to search of happiness, but I still can't find it. I don't know what I'm going to do ... "
"Hmm, My friend, at the other side of this lake, there was a beautiful garden, fill with many kind of flower, you should try to go there and catch a butterfly, then please bring it to me, then I will answer your question, "said the old man.
Although he didn't sure about this, but he try to convince himself, "May be I can get what I have been pursuit of all this time". Then this young man walk to the side of the lake. When he arrive, he was amazed by the beauty of the garden, the garden was full with trees and many kind of flowers with various of butterflies fluttering in there.
At the other side of the lake, the old man saw this young man, trying to catch a Butterfly. "Hap! The target was missed, then he chased another butterflies in the other direction. Hap! failed again. He ran irregularly, try to catch the other butterfly, but he didn't succeed.
When this young man almost giving up, thus the old man coming over. "Is that how you pursuit of happiness? Keep running everywhere, don't have any plan, I think you actually doesn't know about what your true purpose? "
The old man said, "Son, Pursuit of happiness is like catching a butterfly. You don't need to physically catch the butterfly, let them fulfill this universe according to its function. Just memorize all of the beauty of theirs color and movement in your mind and keep it carefully in your heart.
Similarly with happiness. Happiness is not a thing that can be grasped and stored somewhere. It is not going anywhere, but it already everywhere. Just take care of them, feel it every moment with gratitude, then without you knowing it, happiness will to you. Do you understand? "
The boy was stunned, and then he smiles. "Thank you sir, It was a very valuable lesson. I think I got it, for all this time, this happiness already inside my hearth, I have to appreciate it"
