One late night at a hospital, A doctor was rushing for an emergency surgery call. After he answered a call from the hospital, he change his cloth into surgery cloth as soon as possible and went straight to the operating room.
He met the father of the child who is walking around at the hall waiting for the doctor. When he saw the doctor, the father shouted: "Why you take it so long ? Don't you know that my son's life is in danger? Why you don't have the sense of responsibility?"
The doctor smiled and replied: "I'm sorry, I was not in the hospital and I came as soon as possible
after receiving the call, and now I would like to ask you to calm down so I can do my
job"
"Calm Down !, It was easy for you to said like that, What if your child who's in that room,can you calm down? If your child died today, what would you do? Replied the father, with anger.
The
doctor smiled again and replied: "I quote this words from a bible, "From ground back to ground, blessed by be the name of God",
Doctors can not extending the human lifespan. We will try our best in the glory of God"
"It's easy for you to say like that" the father murmured.
After a several hours of operation, finally the doctor came out from the surgery room with an excited face, "Thank God, your child safe" the doctor said.
Without waiting for an answer from his father, he kept walking and said "If you would like to ask anything else, you can ask the nurse"
"Why is he so arrogant?" Even he could not wait for a moment therefore I can ask about the circumstances of my son", the dad complain on a nurse.
The nurse replied with tears streaming down her face: "His son just died yesterday because of an accident, he was at cemetery when we
called him for your sons surgery. And now, after he saved your child, he had to rush back to his son's funeral".
Morale of the Story
As a human being, don't be too quick to judge others, because we never know the truth about other people's lives, what they are experiencing within their life journey.
